Wired Gamers Week in Preview: May 16

Welcome back for another edition of the Wired Gamer's Week in Preview!

On the docket we have a few game releases, a great movie, and some great DVD/Blu-Rays!

First we have Rockstar's latest project, a unique game called L.A. Noire. You are a dectective in 1947 in guess where? L.A. Based on the cinematics that have been released. It looks great. I have it pre-ordered. I suggest you do too. From you favorite retailer. I choose GameStop over Amazon this time because GameStop is offering quite a bit of content. Also out this week is the latest Fallout New Vegas DLC. I will post a link and more about it later in the week.

And on the theatrical release front, we have the latest Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides. Returning are Johnny Depp and Geoffry Rush. New is Penelope Cruz. It looks like a lot of fun, and it comes out this coming weekend. If you are a fan of the series check it out. And if you want to wait, watch for my review on Sunday.

And last up on the list, Epic Games announced today the contents of the special editions of Gears of War 3.
There are three different verions of the game. Of course there is the standard edition. There is also the Limited Edition & Epic Edition.
Contents including:
